Not much. People search on Google and ask ChatGPT, and both answer with someone else if you haven't done the work. Visibility is work, and work can be measured.
We start with what the machines see: how the site reads, what sits where and who else points to you. Then we write what people are asking about.
The same work applies to AI answers. Services like ChatGPT and Perplexity pull from sources they trust, and that's the source you want to be.
